1. I want to come and view the property and wedding sites, do I need to make an appointment?
We strongly recommend that you make an appointment so that you can see all the rooms available. Also to ensure that you will meet with an event manager to discuss all the details necessary to make your special day run flawlessly, and to answer any questions that you may have.
2. How far in advance can I book?
As a rule of thumb, at least one year to the date of the event for prime dates.
3. Can we visit the property and watch while another wedding is taking place?
We pride ourselves on delivering an unparalleled level of service and attention to detail, our event manager will be dedicated to ensuring that each wedding event is handled with personal attention. This unfortunately means that we will not be able to meet with you while a wedding is taking place. Please speak with an event manager for an alternate time to come and visit the property so that they may meet with you and give you the time you deserve.
4. Can the location be used for both the ceremony & reception?
We have a separate location for each event. Renault Winery has three outdoor ceremony locations for our different reception locations as well as three indoor facilities that help to provide a smooth and convenient transition from ceremony to reception.
5. What ceremony locations do you have? If I choose to have an outdoor ceremony what happens if it rains the day of the wedding?
All reception rooms have there own ceremony site as well as back up indoor ceremony site due to inclement weather. Also, please note that we reserve a back up location for any outdoor ceremony locations.
6. Can I have just my ceremony at Renault Winery Resort?
Renault Winery Resort requires that both the ceremony and reception or the reception only is held here.
7. Can I use my own caterer or do we have to use Renault Winery Resorts catering?
Due to specific liability policies, Renault Winery Resort must provide all food and beverage with the exception of the wedding cake (must be from a reputable bakery).
8. Are there certain days of the week, or times of day, when the price is discounted?
Friday and Sunday as well as off-season months weddings are given a 10% discount off the Entrée Selection.
9. What is the deposit, and when is it due to secure the date? Can you hold a date without a deposit?
Once you have decided on your date, a $500.00 deposit and signed contract are required to confirm your event date. Confirmation of booking by mail is made when all appropriate deposits and signed original contracts are received by Renault Winery Resorts.
10. What is the schedule of payments?
Six months prior to the event date a second payment of $1,000.00 (non-refundable) is due. Three months prior to the event, 25% of the anticipated balance is due. This non-refundable payment is based on the expected number of guests minus all other payments. Final count and balance are due two weeks prior to the event date. Any funds payable within two weeks of the event date must be in the form of a certified check only.
11. What is the cancellation policy?
If the event is cancelled prior to 9 months of the event date, the $500.00 will be refunded. To release you from further contractual obligations a cancellation letter must be signed by the same person on the original contract. Closer to the event date the payments are nonrefundable.
12. Do you have onsite wedding planners and coordinators or can we bring our own?
You have an Event Coordinator for the entire day. You will meet with the Event Coordinator prior to the event to go though all the details of your special day. You are welcome to bring your own advisors.
13. Do I have to use your vendors or can I bring in my own?
We do have a suggested services list but you are also welcome to utilize your own vendors.
14. We are also looking to host a rehearsal dinner & post wedding brunch, can you handle these and if so where?
We have many different venues that can accommodate your weekend’s wedding events. The size of your party and theme of the event will help to determine which locations would be the best fit. Your event manager would be pleased to assist you in creating a special theme with each event.
15. What about out of town guests, what is available on property to keep them busy?
Our resort offers many on-site activities for your guests. We offer golf, winery tours, walking & hiking trails, bike trails, swimming outdoor pools. Please see our website for full details regarding each area. Atlantic City is 16-miles away, with Casinos and Outlet shopping.
16. Do I get a discount on overnight rooms for my guests if I have a wedding there and if so how much?
Bride and Groom receive a discount off their hotel room. Room rates are based on day and season.
17. Is there a piano on- site?
There is a piano available for use when reserving the Renault Grand Ballroom for Cocktail Hour. You would need to provide a pianist to play the piano. There is a tuning charge if utilizing the piano.
